Granting access to this service is usually quite simple, but sometimes users face difficulties, especially if they have never used this service before.

How to give an agency or freelancer access to Google Search Console

  1. Sign in to the Google Search Console service. You can do this by following the link – https://search.google.com/
  2. Go to the “Settings” section.

3. Go to the Users and permissions section.

    • There are currently 3 types of accesses:
      • Owner.
      • Full access.
      • Limited.


The owner has full control over the resource in the Search Console. They can add and delete users, customize the resource, view all information, and use various tools.

Full and limited. A user with full access can view all the data and perform actions, while a user with limited access can see part of the statistics. Related users and accounts have limited access to data and can perform tasks on behalf of the site owner, but cannot directly view data in the Search Console.
